2. General
Personal data is any data that can identify a person. This website only processes the data needed to run the site and to answer inquiries. There is no automated decision making, and no data is processed for advertising.
3. Hosting
The website runs with a service provider that hosts the site on its servers and acts on our behalf. There is a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure and reliable website.
4. Server log files
When you visit the website, data sent by your browser is collected automatically: the address requested, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, a note on whether the request succeeded, browser type and version, operating system, the page visited before if applicable, and the IP address. This data serves the technical delivery, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is not merged with other sources and is deleted after a short time.
5. Inquiry form
The inquiry form can transmit the following details: name, email address, phone number, what the inquiry is about, number of people, preferred date, the date chosen from the dates page if applicable, your wishes and any intolerances. Name, email address and the occasion are required.
The purpose is solely to handle and answer the inquiry and to prepare a possible contract. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract, or performance of a contract).
The details are sent by email to the cooking school (info@martinas-kochschule.de) and stored there to answer the inquiry. They are not stored in a database of the website.
The service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) is used to send this email and acts as a processor on our behalf. The details entered in the form are transmitted to this service. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
The data is deleted once the inquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply. Mandatory legal requirements, in particular commercial and tax retention periods, remain unaffected.
The form contains a field that is invisible to visitors and serves only to keep automated spam out. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
6. Cookies
This website uses no cookies for analytics, advertising or recognition. Technically necessary storage happens only where it is needed to run the site, for example for the login to the non public admin area. A consent banner is therefore not required.
7. No analytics tools, no external embeds
No tools for reach measurement or user analytics are used. No maps, videos, social networks or other external content are embedded.
8. No Google Fonts
The fonts used are delivered from our own server. There is no connection to Google servers and no data is transferred to third parties.
9. Link to Google reviews
The home page contains a text link to the public reviews on Google. Data is only transferred once you actively click that link; the privacy policy of that provider then applies.
10. Your rights
Within the legal requirements you have the right to:
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- objection to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
Please contact the controller named above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in Rhineland-Palatinate with the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
11. Data security
The website is delivered encrypted over HTTPS. The details you send through the form are therefore protected in transit.
